Hello, I'm Mert Karabulut. I design and develop digital products.
Whenever I start a new project, my greatest passion is diving deep into the subject, exploring the ideas that emerge, and watching the final result come to life on the screen. Whether I'm handling a soil report, a leader's archive, or a technical panel, I always set out with this approach.
What I do
Often, there is highly valuable content that fails to reflect its true worth on screen. Sometimes it's a complex report spanning hundreds of pages, an archive trapped in an outdated design, or a product catalog whose technical details remain obscure.
I reconstruct these structures on the web. I transform texts meant only to be skimmed or dense data into clean, functional digital experiences that visitors actually want to explore. Because every subject is different, the final result is always unique to that specific project.
How I work
First, I thoroughly research the subject of the project. I never start designing without clearly defining what we are going to tell and generating ideas around it. I stick to the core purpose of the project without ever deviating from it.
I handle both the design and coding myself; this ensures that the planned structure isn't lost during the production phase. I care about managing time efficiently, but I also enjoy dedicating long hours to details that elevate the quality of the project.
My most important rule is this: I do not take on a project unless I can fully grasp and internalize its subject. Because I believe that good work can only emerge when you truly understand what you are doing.
